The fragmented sequences of a digital synthesizer rub shoulders with the raw experiments of a diy machine, in a composition formed by the duality between chaotic and controlled spaces. These textures and patterns overlap, break up and respond to each other, guiding the imagination, like the soundtrack of an invented film.

Bio

Using a combination of diy machines, effects and synthesizers, fumerolles offers a benevolent and organic electronic music. Formed by the meeting of ambient soundscapes and sweet melodies influenced by new age and video game soundtracks, fumerolles is the solo project of Frédérique Duval (elle/she/her), also half of the synthpop duo Avalahm, illustrator and librarian.
